The Trysting Tree - Story
This is the full-length version of "The Trysting Tree", an essay which was published in OSU's Prism art and literary journal. The essay came from a prompt which asked me to consider the identity of Oregon State University. As I walked around campus and passed Weatherford Hall, where my parents spent their college days together, I thought about the relationships that are formed during these years, for my parents, my siblings, and myself. This inspired me to write about my parents' love story intertwined with the romantic story of a special tree that once graced the campus.
Advertising Campaign Project
For my Advertising and Public Relations Writing class, I put together an advertising campaign for a made-up product. I made one based on a heated scarf and combined research, writing, and design to create the campaign. I received full marks and my professor requested to use my project as an example in the future.
Press Kit Project
Content Warning: This project contains sensitive content relating to a sexual assault case in Oregon State University's history.
This press kit includes a letter from the president, three articles, a fact sheet, and a brochure handling a PR crisis faced in OSU's past. The goal was to honestly face and acknowledge the issue, while addressing what will be done (or was done) to handle it. To finish, one article was intended to direct readers towards campus resources that can help in similar situations. I received the Goldstein Journalism Scholarship for this project in 2023.
Glasses: A Children's Book
"Glasses" was a final project in a fiction class where I had to change the form of an existing story I had written. I took a long-form story directed towards adults and adapted it into a children's book. This contains a cover, text, and descriptions for illustrations.
Dynamic Audit Events Overview
An overview describing CyberLock's award-winning software enhancement module, Dynamic Audit Events, which integrates CyberAudit-Web software with Frigate NVR for detailed video analytics. The overview breaks down every feature of the software for potential customers.
